House of Define is a boutique medical aesthetic clinic that focuses on personalised, patient centred care for treatments that address ageing, volume replacement and skin health. At House of Define, we are passionate about providing you with extensive information regarding a wide range of aesthetic medical treatments and service offerings, to ensure you feel educated and empowered to make decisions that affect your body and health. However, as of January 2024, new Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations were released dictating the exclusion of certain terms and images used within the industry of aesthetic medicine. These regulations restrict and prohibit providing information about:
· Treatments offered
· Information about treatments
· Treatment specific aftercare information
· Photos of before and after treatment
· Patient reviews
· Treatment specific pricing
Please kindly note these changes restrict the content our website, social media and emails can display, along with information provided via phone call. However, this information is still available to you. Highlighting the importance of a face-to-face consultation, we can discuss all treatment information with you during these appointments. Though comprehensive consultations have always remained priority in your treatment journey, they are now increasingly important as this is your only source for the most relevant information and education regarding your treatments. We understand this may feel misleading and frustrating though due to an ever-changing industry, we must comply with regulations. We kindly ask you read the following information prior to your appointment to ensure you are well informed about our policies and procedures.
We highly encourage booking online to ensure easy accessibility to days and time that suit your schedule. We kindly ask all new and existing patients to use the ‘book now’ button at the bottom of this page or click ‘book here’ via the site navigation tool at the top of the website. Both these options will allow you to make an appointment with Dr Jeremy Chou, Nurse Amanda or Nurse Eliza.
It is important to note for all new clients, a consultation and treatment can happen in the same appointment. However, ensure you select an ‘initial consultation’ and your preferred treatment when booking online to ensure an adequate amount of time is allocated.
We understand the descriptions of treatment appointments will appear vague, due to TGA regulation changes, this is unavoidable, and we must comply with these new regulations.
All patients must book an initial consultation prior to treatment, even if you have had treatments elsewhere previously. This is to ensure we fulfil our duty of care by thoroughly informing you, providing exceptional patient centred care, along with regulation compliance. Within this appointment the following will be discussed:
· Suitability assessment for treatment
· Discussion of relevant medical history
· Information about treatment and side effects
· Information about aftercare
· Formulating a treatment plan
· Answering any questions or concerns
· Completing mandatory paperwork (to comply with regulations)
· Completing Pre-treatment photography (if required)
Please understand a thorough consultation takes time, if an appointment is booked without a consultation first, we kindly ask you to note we reserve the right to move your appointment to a suitable time, allowing for consultation and to ensure patient safety.
You can read more about initial consultations here.

Whilst it may be overwhelming filling out multiple forms, at House of Define our service offerings are medical treatments therefore, to ensure adequate patient safety and optimal treatment outcome, you will receive paperwork to be completed prior to your appointment. This allows us to assess suitability for treatment and transfer the information to your patient file in preparation for your appointment. Health issues and medications rarely given reason not to treat, however they may affect the outcome or longevity of your treatment, it is important you are thorough and specific with your medical history and answer all questions, even if you think it may be irrelevant. These forms also give opportunity for you to identify any questions you may have. These forms may include:
· Medical history
· Treatment specific information forms
· Consent forms
We kindly ask you allow sufficient time for your initial consultation and/or treatment.
Regardless of previous experiences, House of Define prides themselves on providing exceptional patient centred care that focuses largely on comprehensively informing and educating our patients. Though we are experienced medical professionals, our service offerings are still medical procedures that hold risk. It is important that you as a patient, are assessed and formulated with a treatment plan relevant to you, to ensure your own safety. Due to regulations, we must comply with relevant paperwork that governs our practice.
When booking with your chosen medical professional, please take note of the allocated time frame for your appointment. We kindly ask for your understanding that appointments will not be cut short simply due to patients insufficiently allocating time for appointments.
PLEASE NOTE:
Whilst we understand that there are sometimes situations where this is unavoidable, it is recommended to not bring children to your appointments. House of Define is accessed via stairs, unfortunately due to being located in a heritage building we are not wheelchair accessible.
