This page answers some of the questions we are most commonly asked before and after treatment.
If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact your practitioner or discuss your questions during your consultation.
Due to current Australian regulations, we are limited in what information we can provide online about certain treatments.
This means we may not be able to provide detailed treatment information, treatment examples, patient reviews, pricing, or treatment-specific aftercare through our website, social media, phone or email.
We understand this can feel vague, confusing or frustrating.
More detailed information can still be discussed during a face-to-face consultation, where your medical practitioner can assess your individual needs, discuss suitable options and formulate a safe and appropriate treatment plan.
Some clinics may choose to interpret the regulations differently. As a small business, we have chosen to take a cautious approach so that we remain compliant and protect both our patients and our practitioners.
We appreciate your understanding and ask that staff are treated respectfully if they are unable to provide certain information outside of a consultation.
Our practitioners do not provide treatments to patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
There is currently insufficient evidence regarding the safety of these treatments during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For this reason, treatment is deferred until pregnancy and breastfeeding have concluded.
It is advised to avoid treatments for two weeks before and after receiving a Covid-19 or influenza (flu) vaccination due to the potential risk of increased swelling and immune system activation.
Other vaccinations are generally acceptable, however this may depend on the vaccine and your individual health circumstances.
If you have recently received, or are planning to receive, a vaccination, please discuss this with your medical practitioner prior to treatment.
Prior to your appointment, your chosen medical practitioner may send you documentation and information to review.
This information helps us understand your medical history, identify any relevant risks and ensure appropriate consent is obtained prior to treatment.
We also recommend taking some time to review the information available on our website prior to your appointment, as many commonly asked questions are answered throughout our patient information pages.
Please READ any appointment confirmation text messages carefully, as they may contain important information including clinic location details, appointment instructions, patient information and links to any forms that require completion prior to your appointment.
Yes. All patients are required to attend an Initial Consultation prior to treatment.
During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your concerns, discuss your goals and formulate an individualised treatment plan.
This appointment also provides an opportunity to discuss treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, downtime, maintenance requirements and associated costs.
Our goal is to ensure you are fully informed and able to make a confident decision regarding any proposed treatment prior to proceeding.

Prior to treatment, you will be asked to complete a Patient Medical History and Consultation Form so that we can assess your medical history and identify any relevant risks.

Where required, you will also speak with one of our prescribing doctors via video consultation. This provides an opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns prior to proceeding with treatment.

Many aesthetic treatments are commonly performed on both men and women.
Treatment recommendations are based on your individual anatomy, concerns, treatment goals and clinical assessment rather than gender alone.
Your practitioner will discuss the most appropriate treatment options during your consultation.
Most treatments are well tolerated, although everyone’s comfort level is different.
The level of discomfort varies depending on the treatment performed, the area being treated and individual sensitivity.
If you are concerned about discomfort, have had a previous negative experience, or are particularly anxious about treatment, please let your practitioner know prior to your appointment so appropriate options can be discussed.

Treatment effects gradually reduce over time as the treatment naturally wears off.
If you choose not to continue treatment, the treated area will gradually return towards its natural appearance as the treatment wears off.
Stopping treatment does not generally make the area worse than it was before treatment.
Your practitioner can discuss expected treatment longevity during your consultation.
