Please reach us at info@houseofdefine.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.
As of January 2024 new TGA regulations have been released that dictate that we are not able to provide you with basically any information about treatments without a face to face consultation.
These regulations restrict and prohibit providing information about-
-The treatments offered
-Information about treatments
-Treatment specific aftercare information for treatments
-Photos of treatments/ treatment examples
-Patient reviews
-Prices
Regulations were already in place that prevented us from using product brand names however these regulations have now been extended to the generic terms and words that we used to use to describe treatments. We can now only use very vague descriptors.
All of this information is still available to you!
However, it cannot be provided via the website, social media pages, phone or email.
It can only be provided during a face to face consultation.
We understand that you would like access to this information for your own research.
We understand that having access to some of these things is important.
We understand that this is confusing for you.
we understand this is frustrating.
However we have no choice but to comply with regulations.
Aside from the fact that we wish to remain compliant- Large fines are associated with breaching these regulations.
You may find that some other clinics continue as per normal as they either do not agree with the regulations, do not care or would rather just pay the fines.
However as a small business we simply cannot afford this risk.
We are not intending to come across as vague or rude by not being upfront with this information, please do not abuse staff for not providing you with this information over phone, email or social media messages. please just book in for a consultation.
Our practitioners will not provide treatments to patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
There is little evidence to conclude that these treatments are or are not safe while pregnant and breastfeeding.

Yes, All patients are required to have an Initial Consultation prior to treatment, to ensure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision about your treatment.
Consultations are an in-depth discussion where your practitioner will assess your facial structure and features, go through your individual concerns and discuss with you the underlying anatomy and ageing processes.
A consultation also gives your practitioner time to discuss any risks and downtime associated with individual treatments and any concerns you may have.
This ensures that you are fully informed, have a realistic expectation on how to achieve your desired result, understand all risks involved, and have a straightforward plan outlining costs and maintenance - prior to proceeding.
Yes, your health and wellbeing is paramount to us.

When we have deemed that you are suitable for the proposed treatment, you will then speak with one of our prescribing doctors via video call where you will again have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, or directly ask any questions.
