Whether you’re considering treatment for the first time or you’re simply new to House of Define, we’re delighted to welcome you.
Our goal is to make your experience as straightforward, comfortable and well-informed as possible.
This page explains what to expect before your first appointment, how to book, and answers some of the questions new patients commonly ask.
You’ll also notice that some treatment information may be different from what you’ve seen on other websites.
That’s because Australian regulations place restrictions on how cosmetic medical services can be advertised.
We’ve included a brief explanation below so you know what to expect when exploring our website.
Recent Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations have significantly changed what information aesthetic medical clinics can display online.
As a result, we may be unable to provide detailed information on our website regarding:
• Specific treatments
• Treatment pricing
• Before and after photographs
• Patient reviews
• Treatment-specific aftercare information
These restrictions apply across our website, social media platforms and other public marketing materials.
We understand this can be frustrating. However, comprehensive treatment information remains available during your consultation, where your practitioner can discuss your individual concerns, treatment options, risks, benefits and pricing.
If you are new to House of Define, we encourage you to book an Initial Consultation so your practitioner can provide personalised information relevant to your individual concerns and treatment goals.

We encourage patients to book online, as this provides the most up-to-date availability for each practitioner.
Appointments can be booked directly with Dr Jeremy Chou, RN Amanda Johnson or RN Eliza Ride using the online booking system.
If you are a new patient, please select an Initial Consultation when booking.
Where clinically appropriate, consultation and treatment may be completed during the same appointment.
Due to current TGA regulations, appointment descriptions may appear intentionally broad or limited. This is a regulatory requirement and does not affect the information that can be discussed with you during your consultation.
All patients are required to attend an initial consultation prior to treatment, even if they have received similar treatments elsewhere previously.
This consultation allows your practitioner to assess your individual concerns, discuss your medical history and determine whether treatment is appropriate for you. It also ensures we meet our professional and regulatory obligations while providing safe, patient-centred care.
During your consultation, the following may be discussed:
• Your treatment goals and concerns
• Relevant medical history
• Treatment options, risks and potential side effects
• Aftercare requirements
• Development of a personalised treatment plan
• Any questions you may have
• Required paperwork and consent documentation
• Clinical photography, where appropriate
Comprehensive consultations take time. If you have booked an appointment that does not allow sufficient time to complete both your consultation and treatment, your consultation will be completed first and your treatment will be rescheduled for another appointment.
You can find further information regarding consultations here.

Prior to your appointment, you may be asked to complete a number of forms online. While this can feel time-consuming, these forms play an important role in ensuring your treatment is safe, appropriate and tailored to your individual needs.
The information you provide allows your practitioner to review your medical history, assess treatment suitability and prepare for your appointment in advance. We encourage you to answer all questions as accurately and thoroughly as possible, even if you are unsure whether the information is relevant.
These forms also provide an opportunity for you to raise any questions or concerns prior to your consultation.
Paperwork may include:
• Medical history forms
• Treatment-specific information forms
• Consent documentation
Where possible, we ask that all forms are completed before your appointment so your practitioner has an opportunity to review your information in advance.

We encourage patients to allow sufficient time for both consultation and treatment appointments.
Aesthetic medical treatments are medical procedures and require careful assessment, discussion and planning to ensure treatment is appropriate for your individual needs and goals.
When booking online, please take note of the appointment duration allocated to your chosen service. Our appointments are scheduled to allow adequate time for consultation, assessment, treatment planning, documentation and treatment (where appropriate).
Please ensure you allow sufficient time in your schedule for your appointment. We value taking the time to listen, answer your questions and ensure you feel informed and comfortable throughout your consultation.
Whilst we understand there are occasionally situations where this is unavoidable, it is recommended that children do not attend your appointment.
Many consultations and treatments require concentration, discussion of personal medical information and the ability to remain still during treatment. For the safety of your child, yourself and your practitioner, we encourage alternative arrangements to be made wherever possible.
House of Define is accessed via stairs and, due to being located in a heritage building, is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
